Capture the living memory of Pahari elders

Oral History Archives

Elders hold migration trails, clan tales, ritual calendars, and harvest stories that no book records. Field teams travel to mid-hill villages to record testimonies, digitise aging cassette tapes, and build a public archive accessible to researchers, students, and community members worldwide.

The programme runs across Pahari settlements in Lalitpur and the mid-hills, records what the elders carry, and builds the next generation of custodians who will keep the language and traditions speaking.
