Youth Cultural Exchange and Heritage Meetup
Roots Across Generations
Hundreds of young Pahari participated in a weekend meetup celebrating heritage crafts, music, and language — a bridge between elders who carry tradition and a generation discovering it anew.
A Weekend of Making and Learning
Workshops and performances filled the program from sunrise to bonfire:
- Hands-on craft stalls for bamboo weaving, pottery, and traditional instrument making.
- Song and story circles led by elder storytellers from Badikhel.
- Youth-led panels on keeping heritage relevant in a digital age.
What Comes Next
Regional chapters are being formed so the exchange continues year-round, with each district hosting its own festival by the next season.
